We are the Alumni from the Ohio Association of SkillsUSA. We are recent graduates, parents, professionals, friends working with SkillsUSA Ohio to better the organization. Ohio boasts one of the highest membership rates in the United states in SkillsUSA and it is our goal to have as many alumni as possible join us in making SkillsUSA the best experience for our current students who are involved in SkillsUSA as well as our communities. Wont you join us? We are SkillsUSA, Champions at Work.

The SkillsUSA Ohio Alumni Association's first organized meeting was held on August 21st, 2010 in Columbus. This meeting was planned to organize the association as a whole and adopt the policies and procedures as discussed  in that meeting.
Three offices were established at this meeting allowing the organization to move forward with a sense of direction under the leadership of these individuals. Anne Ruble-Dew was appointed the Director of the SkillsUSA Ohio Alumni Association, Dustin Robertson was appointed the Co-Director of the SkillsUSA Ohio Alumni Association, and Deonte Smith was appointed the Secretary and Treasurer of the SkillsUSA Ohio Alumni Association.
In attendance at this meeting were the SkillsUSA Ohio director Mike Cowles, Board member Chris Hall, SkillsUSA Region III National Alumni Representative Peggy Plowman and her guest, and a SkillsUSA Alumni Member, a graduate from the Wayne County Schools Career Center and a current service member of the United States Navy, Daniel Duncan.
These people who met on this day ratified the final edit of the SkillsUSA Ohio Alumni Association Bylaws and Code of Conduct. These members are fine examples of the SkillsUSA organization and we thank them for their time and efforts that they have put into our organization. They are SkillsUSA Champions at Work.
